Parsons dancers with students from their 2016 PS21 class at the barn studio

Dear Friends,

Thank you for joining us for a wonderful season of music, dance, theater, and movies at PS21 – our eleventh year presenting the performing arts under the Tent!

It was a joyous summer full of everything from workshops in the barn studio to evening performances under the stars. This year’s Chatham Dance Festival included performances by RIOULT Dance NY, The Chase Brock Experience, Dance Heginbotham, and Parsons Dance. Dance Omi also provided an evening performance of solos by their alumni Monstah Black and Stephanie Miracle. Our music performances were by the Jeremy Kittel Band, Sō Percussion , and Howard Fishman and the Biting Fish Brass Band. Vanaver Caravan gave us an inspiring tribute to Pete Seeger in dance and music. Summer Shtick and Yol provided music and laughs and the staged reading of Red Hot Patriot provided laughs and acute insights. Our free Just for Fun series of Friday afternoon performances for kids brought kids from local summer camps to enjoy performances of dance, mime and music. And our dance and theater workshops inspired creativity in people of all ages!

with warm regards,
The Board and staff of PS21
