Throughout the year, from sunrise to sunset, all are welcome to explore PS21’s 100 acres of meadows, woodlands, apple orchards, and trails—open to the public every day at no cost—at their own pace. Encounters with artists undertaking creative practice or animals nestled among installations are among the range of experiences to be expected.

Come for a snowy stroll and explore our wintery landscape—you never know what you might get to listen in on! Our campus will be buzzing this winter, as we’re hosting four artist residencies: Ruri Mito (Japan), Circa (Australia), Kyle Marshall Choreography, and Brooklyn Youth Chorus. See more about our winter residencies!

As you explore the grounds, you’ll happen upon James Casebere’s Solo Pavilion for Two or Three as well as Dandelions by Silda Wall Spitzer and Tim Jones. These site specific art-installations transform the PS21 landscape offering year round delight and wonder.
