PS21chatham.org Has a New Look!

PS21 announces its newly redesigned website.

All of us at PS21 are excited to announce the launch of our completely redesigned website. For its development, we partnered with the talented young Ukrainian team at Havas Digital Kyiv. The new site is user-focused, mobile-friendly, and a breeze to navigate. More than ever before, when you visit PS21CHATHAM.ORG, you’ll experience the sense of place and community at the heart of who we are, and discover new content about the theater, our programs, and performances.

Our decision to partner with web developers in Ukraine was both personal and purposeful. Elena Siyanko, our Executive and Artistic Director, is a Kyiv native who immigrated to the US as a university student. Spearheaded by Elena, Production Associate Tristan Geary, and Board members Marcia Fardella, Roger Sametz, and Natasha Stevens, our Marketing Committee kicked off the redesign project by interviewing candidates from the US, Ukraine, and beyond.

Havas Digital was the clear choice, and the committee also agreed that working with a Ukrainian firm would be a powerful statement of our solidarity with and support of the beleaguered democracy during this turbulent period. Interacting with Havas Digital’s thoughtful, inventive, and responsive team has proven to be rewarding beyond our expectations.

Like the international artists who have introduced their unique brands of cultural richness and diversity to PS21’s audiences, including the Ukrainian “ethno-chaos” band DakhaBrakha in 2022, Havas Digital’s novel approach to web design introduced features and perspectives that help us to see the world—and ourselves—in new ways.
