Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra
On June 15, Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra took the PS21 Pavilion Stage to kick off the GLOBAL | LOCAL Music Series! Attendees of the sold-out performance enjoyed Arturo’s tremendous piano playing, his charisma, and his amazing 18-piece band, full of horn solos and rhythmic percussion beats!
Sandwiched between soundcheck and dinner, Arturo led a Pathways percussion workshop with local school children.
